Crape Myrtles will only bloom on the current years growth and remove the old spent seed capsules still on the tree. |

Later in the Week …Liquidambars are leafing out and it will not be too long before the flower clusters emerge. These clusters produce the spiny seedpods that are such a mess. Once the blossom has opened and the female part of the flower is exposed, spray the tree with Florel Fruit Eliminator. Florel aborts the blossom so none of the seedpods will form. ...
