Other 'ToDo' things: ...June is the month to pinch back leggy annuals like petunias and impatiens. I’d remove 50% of the new growth. This will force the side shoots to develop making the plants compact. Also, fertilize with Miracle Gro, Fish Emulsion or any other food to encourage the new growth. ... It is not too late to start String Beans from seed. Late planted beans are not as susceptible to weather fluctuation as early season plantings. Once the seedlings emerge be sure to bait for Snail, Slugs and Earwigs. ...And finally, protect grapes from mildew with sulfur. Sulfur is available in liquid and dry forms at your favorite garden center. |
