Your Lunar   -'ToDo'

Lunar Phase - 4th Quarter Begins February 5

Saturday/Sunday: Moon in the sign of of Virgo – Harvest, cultivate, weed & control pests. …Control the new crops of seasonal weeds by cultivating them or spraying them with RoundUp while they are still small. As the days get longer, the growth rate increases rapidly.

Later in the Week:

Tuesday - Thursday: Moon in the sign Libra & Scorpio – Plant root growth, prune, & transplant or divide perennials. …Foxglove, Shasta Daisies, Daylilies, and others can be divided now.

. . . Now is a great time to plant dwarf fruit trees, but be sure to select a tree that’s best suited for your yard, Here are the typical heights as they vary; Semi-Dwarf 15' to 20', Dwarf 10' to 15', Ultra Dwarf 8' to 10', and Genetic Dwarf 6' to 8'.

..Blueberries are available now and make an excellent companion plant to Azaleas, Camellias, Hosta and others in shady areas. Blueberry plants should yield 3t o 6 quarts of berries per year.
