Later in the Week: Wednesday/Thursday: Moon in the sign of Cancer – Plant Seasonal color … A teaspoon per plant of Dr Earth All Purpose Plant Food is recommended when planting color. This provides the necessary nutrients to prevent them from turning yellow. |

Other 'ToDo' Things... . ...Now is an excellent time to control the seeds of Crabgrass, Oxalis, Dandelions and many other lawn weeds with Scotts Turf Builder plus Halts or similar turf product. You feed and control the weeds with one application ...A sure proof way of preventing any bareroot fruit tree from being planted too deep is by adding a 3/4 x 3/4 x 5' stake at the time of planting. You attach the tree to the stake so that the top of the first root is at the proper planting depth. At the end of the first growing season the stake is removed. ...And finally, Apricot trees are sensitive to sulphur, so apply Copper Sulfate as a dormant spray. Lime Sulphur will burn the swelling buds. |
