Other 'ToDo' Things... . ... Even if you haven't planted yet, it is not too early to set out snail bait. It is important to go after the breeding areas like ground covers, under decks and porches or any area that is cool damp and dark. Using a hand held spreader is an excellent way to distribute the snail bait in these areas. By starting now, you can reduce the population that is assembling to attack your yard and garden. ...And finally, to help preserve the color in poinsettias, increase the light. At this time of the year they can tolerate mid day sun. |
