Monday: Moon in the sign of Leo – Harvest, cultivate, weed, and control pests. ..Summer Squash will vary in shape but they are all best picked when young. As they grow larger and age, the skin hardens, seeds form and the edible flesh is not as flavorable. Even if you can not consume all the squash keep the vines picked. Once the fruit is left to go to seed on the vines, the plants energy and productivity will diminish.

Thursday/Friday: Moon in the sign of Libra – Plant Seasonal color

... Crape Myrtle are ideal for today's small yards. They provide spectacular color during the summer months and again in the fall. Crape Myrtles are drought / heat tolerant and available in bush and tree form.
