Your Lunar-'ToDo' List -

Lunar Phase - 4th Quarter, Begins Tuesday April 6

Saturday/Sunday: Moon in the sign of Sagittarius –Harvest, cultivate and plant tubers

… When harvesting strawberries, a portion of the green stem should be left on each berry.

Later in the Week

Monday/Tuesday: Moon in the sign of Capricorn – Plant for root growth. It is another favorable opportunity to plant in the open ground or planters, radishes, beets, carrots, and turnips.

Wednesday/Thursday: Moon in the sign of Aquarius - Harvest, cultivate, weed, and control insects. ...The white foamy stuff on plants is from the Spittle Bug. It will be around for about a month, and does little damage to plants. I’d just wash it off with a stream of water.

Other 'ToD0" Things

…It is now okay to cut off the foliage of ferns damaged by the winter cold at the ground. The new growth will develop from the base of the clumps and you encourage the new growth with a all-purpose fertilizer.
