Saturday/Sunday: Moon in the sign of Gemini - ... It’s time to reestablish the watering basins around trees and shrubs especially those on a slope. I’d build the basin higher on the downward slope to prevent the water from draining away too quickly. |

Later in the Week Monday/Tuesday: Moon in the sign of Cancer – Plant seasonal color …Zinnias, Vinca Rosea, and Salvia is now available for planting. |

Other 'ToD0" Things …. Camellias, Azaleas and Rhododendrons are feed monthly now with Azalea, Camellia and Rhododendron Food through October. Osmocote is alternative with an application now and a follow up one in July. Also, clean up all the spend flowers that gather at the base of the plants.. …It’s a good time to reseed bare spots and thicken up thinning lawns. For bare spots, I would reseed the blank areas; however, for thickening, you need to reseed the entire area. Also, in those areas that are shady, I’d use a shade mix and blend the seed into the sunny areas. ...And finally, it’s not too late to prune spring flowering shrubs that have finished blooming. |
