Memorial Day is a 2004 AARS Winner. Upright and bushy, this hybrid tea is so fragrant that just one bloom will fill an entire room with its damask scent. Memorial Day's color is a clear pink with a lavender wash. Pointed oval buds spiral open to reveal very large 5 inch ruffled blooms with 50 petals on long low-thorn stems. Disease resistance is rated very good and the plant especially enjoys hot weather. Memorial Day is Weeks Roses' hybridizer, Tom Carruth's fifth AARS winner.
